How it began
Our Story
At Remarkable Destinations, everything begins with our love for food, wine, people, and the simple moments that bring them together. Over the years, we came to realise that the most meaningful experiences are often the simplest ones — a long lunch shared with friends, wine poured by the person who made it, conversations around a table, or places that still feel untouched and real.
Yet, these moments are often the hardest to find. Not because they are hidden, but because they cannot be packaged or replicated through traditional tourism. They exist within people, relationships, and trust built over time.
Before creating Remarkable Destinations, we spent years immersed in hospitality, luxury travel, and on-ground experience design across Croatia and the wider region. Through our work, we built close relationships with local families, winemakers, chefs, hoteliers, skippers, guides, and cultural hosts — many of whom have become close friends and an extension of our own story.
Today, those relationships form the foundation of everything we create.
